The smartest guy in the room is often all of us together - f. & co presents the Open Brain initiative
We wrote elsewhere that we were prepared to demonstrate in action what we aim to achieve on a daily basis. That we wanted to provide the world with an open view of our minds, to share our knowledge, to create with some that we know and others that we don't. We also thought it would be nice for those who are not attending C2-MTL 2013 to obtain a firsthand view on what is happening behind the walls, between the containers.
Though we published the Guerrilla everything Manifesto yesterday, giving substance to the already dynamic #redshoes movement, what we are truly wishing to demonstrate through our presence and our writing at this year's conference is that the collective intelligence of creative groups will always surpass that of a lone genius.
That's precisely what Chris Bilton wrote in Management and Creativity : "The separation of creative people from their managers and the splitting of innovation and novelty from questions of value... reflects a partial and incomplete view of the creative process."
Thus, we are opening our brains to you, all of you, whether you are joining in from Jakarta or Austin, Hong Kong or Strasbourg, we want to play with you. And so, in order to bring water to the mill, to truly collaborate and create fully, we have structured and documented this year's C2-MTL using a simple Google Doc.
An "Open Brain". Curated by f. & co, but most importantly, powered by all those who wish to co-construct this year's experience and join a growing community of driven minds.
It doesn't take much. Just a link, and a bit of work. So here it is !
